I’m one lucky girl

I am one very lucky girl.
I have managed to get sponsorship for the MDS next year. http://www.herbertsmithfreehills.com are very kindly sponsoring me and I am looking forward to working alongside them before my Sahara adventure.  I will be taking some of the Belfast staff for bootcamps and looking forward to getting started from next Friday.

I also have a bit of kit shopping to do thanks to http://www.rjspatterson.comthis is a massive weight off my shoulders.  It means I can get all my desert specific kit all at once and make sure it all works and fits ok before the big event.  I have been busy doing my research on the best female suited options and looking forward to getting it all ordered.

I made a visit over to the Samaritans office on Wesley Avenue yesterday.  To say I’m humbled is an understatement.  The work all the volunteers do is amazing.  I got a real sense of family and how they operate as an organisation is just fantastic. http://www.samaritans.org/branches/belfast

My aim to reach a target of £1500 has already begun with my just giving page http://www.justgiving.com/Claire-Withers/?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=fundraisingpage&utm_content=Claire-Withers&utm_campaign=pfp-tweet … I now have a collection box for the Samaritans and the swear box will be underway Monday morning.

I really am so grateful and as I said am very privileged to get a place in the MDS and also have it funded too.  It means a lot that Herbert Smith Freehills and RJS Plumbing believe in me.
